ALL TESTS ARE CLEAR!!! Praise the Lord! The doctor said that he is healthy, no sign of illness, but because they feel that he was directly exposed, they feel that they are obligated to treat him to be on the safe side. They did, however, shorten his treatment time from 14 days to 10 days. So, we should be going home either Monday night or Tuesday morning. What a relief! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Addie's birthday is tomorrow! I can't believe that she is going to be two years old! Of course, we won't be able to be at the party that we had planned, so we are going to have a make-shift party here at the hospital! Our friends have been absolutely amazing! They have sent new toys up here for Addie to play with to make her feel special and to keep this room from feeling so small! We are so blessed. We have been completely overwhelmed at everything people have done for us. You would not believe it! My friends even organized a schedule for people to come sit with me while Adam is at work! And Adam goes and gets Addie after work and takes her home, plays with her, bathes her, and puts her down before he heads back up here to be with me. I think that is giving her some sense of normalcy back in her life. I know she is ready for us all to be home!
But we are thankful that Jett is healthy, and we are glad that we are in the best place for him to be taken care of! We will be home soon! Just a few more days!!! Thank you for all of the prayers!

Update on our boy...
So many of you may know this already, but we have had a rough few days in our family. We went to see Jett's pediatrician on Friday for his after hospital visit, everything looked great, but his doctor noticed these tiny dots on the back of his throat that he didn't like. There were two, about the size of a pinhead. He called a specialist, and decided that we needed to go to the hospital to have some tests run to rule out HSV, the Herpes Simplex Virus. This is the virus that comes out in people like fever blisters. In anyone over two months old that is exposed to this, it is no big deal, but in a baby it can be very dangerous. Because Adam and his mom tend to get fever blisters and actually both had one last week, they had to consider him exposed. So, we got to the hospital at 3pm on Friday and Jett went through a rigorous series of tests including a spinal tap, cultures, and blood tests. It was terrible. He is so tiny, but he was so strong and so brave! Our little boy is a fighter! So, they went ahead and started him on an anti-viral medicine on Friday night. We have been waiting since then for test results. The spinal tap, which tested any infection in his brain or spinal fluid, came back negative, PRAISE GOD! And, his blood tests have also come back clear. At this point, all cultures have shown no growth, and if it was HSV, it should have shown up by now. So, as of now, all tests are clear. Even though tests are clear, however, the doctors feel that because he could have been exposed, they want to run a full cycle of anti-viral medication which is a 14 day cycle. We thank God that our little boy is healthy and will go home as if nothing ever happened. But, please be in prayer for us. We miss Addie so much. We just got home from the hospital on Wednesday to just go back in on Friday. My parents have been absolutely amazing and are taking such great care of her, but her mommmy and daddy miss her. Mom brings her up here in the mornings so that we can spend time with her. I will try to keep this updated as we get news from the doctors. God is so faithful. He has showed his grace to us in so many ways. Amazingly, my body is healing very quickly. Jett is eating SO well, and breast feeding is going great. With all of the tears that I have cried in the last three days, it is only by the grace of God that I still even have milk! I have the absolutely most amazing husband ever, who has really taken care of all of us through this. And we have been so blessed already to see the body of Christ step in and make sure that we are taken care of, we have incredible friends. It is amazing, thank you Jesus.

Not so much...
So, I was going to take the little countdown thing off, but I find it kind of humorous! Don't be fooled, Baby Jett is not one, or however many days old, he is a little stubborn thing, and is still in there making his mommy crazy!!! :) Hey, I feel great, just getting a little restless! But, the countdown is a liar!

Update on Jett...
So, he is quite happy in there! I went to the doctor yesterday and there has been no change, which, as we know, doesn't really mean anything. I could keep going this way for a while, or I could go into active labor in the next hour! My doctor said the decision was ours on what to do. I am so thankful that I have a doctor that doesn't pressure me into doing anything. I really want to hang in there and go into labor on my own, so we decided to not do anything yet. Dr. Wood was very supportive. She said that mother nature knows better than she does, so if I have wanted to wait, we should wait. I have no reason to be induced yet, she is not concerned about anything medically and I am feeling great, just anxious to meet my little boy! The only thing is that he is getting bigger EVERYDAY!!! She is estimating that he is about 8 lbs already! So, we'll see! If I haven't had him by Monday, I will have yet another appointment! COME ON BABY JETT!!!
